Time for me (at least) to 'fess up. :)
I committed the rare purchase or two at 'Copia this year in the form of an Astral Ronny PFD and a CCS 10 x 10 multi-colored panel tarp. The 1.1oz silnylon variety.
After that, my wife took my computer away from me :) :)
How about you?

Jumping in big time. First trip last year it was a solo and had to borrow/ rent a lot of gear. I am the kind of guy who likes to have MY OWN stuff. So.... new Helinox sun set chair, MSR Whisperlite, MSR cook kit, Kelty Noah's tarp, ordered the new Haven XL hammock, and ordered a CCS Pioneer pack. Yeah, the wife is very supportive, but hanging on to the credit card for the time being. Haha.

timatkn: "CCS 30 Liter Quad barrel pack in Red...impulse buy...I think I saved like $70 off the normal web price. Still expensive.

That'll get some use! I have both a 30L and a 50L. One for solo trips and the other is for group trips. Handy items.

Bending Branches Explorer Plus paddle, a 60l barrel (got CCS Barrel Pack last year), a water bottle that lights up, one pack of Bungee Dealy Bobs, couple other small things I can’t remember. Wanted to get some Yakima towers and clips for new vehicles, but Yak, Thule and Malone would not allow them to do a discount. So I’ll get those at REI and get a rebate. Expensive, otherwise I’d have gotten those too.

I got the Nada....nada dang thing! I'm a gear junkie, so it was like going through withdrawal. Seriously. I'm even on a 12 step....okay two step....program to thin out the gear - post, sell. When you browse the gear and can't seem to find anything you don't already have more than one of, you realize you have a problem. The treatment for this is simple - USE it more! Now that's therapy!

This is the second year I bought nothing at Canoecopia - last year due the show being cancelled and this year because I didn't "attend." I have worked at the show 4 times in previous years and always vowed that I wouldn't spend more than I earned for the weekend but I always spent more than my earnings. I am a sucker for new gear that I am sure I need. I am hoping to be stronger next year when I expect the show will be back as an in-person event.

Largest paddlesports expo in USA. Usually held the second weekend in March in Madison at Alliant Energy Center.....sponsored/put on, by Rutabaga. Canceled at last minute last year and done virtually this year.

I meant to check out the lucylights this year. Anything lightweight in terms of evening light sources around the camp are worthwhile. I'll have to search around the net for a deal on these since I missed out.

Only one “small” item, but perhaps the single most versatile piece of gear I have. Frost River Windigo Signal Bag. Very simple, extremely versatile. This is my second one, have had the other one for many years and still going strong. And since I live in Duluth was able to go pick it up in person after ordering with the Canoecopia discount. Great folks over at Frost River.

I just looked that one up. I didn't know that Frost River made something like this detachable pack. Really cool!
I'm still adding to my own gear stash. There are a couple key items that I never picked up, such as a Fjellkniven Outdoor Knife . Never had a reliable, high quality, fixed blade. Looking forward to getting this one when it shows up in the mail.

Did anybody else receive an email today from Rutabaga/Whova identifying a discount code for continued 'Copia shopping? I got something like this but I haven't delved into the details of it. I wonder if Rutabaga is keeping their 'Copia deals going a little bit longer?

Yes, I just checked and the sale ends tomorrow. I talked to Rutabaga just now and they told me that they pretty much kept up with the online orders. So, the tarp I ordered should be here any day now via USPS.

They're pretty awesome. Had our power out for several days after the derecho last fall. They were key during that! Got the upgraded version with the 2 way USB so we could quick charge it with the generator if we get back into that situation and not have to rely so much on a sunny day.
