Along with the Cook County / Grand Marais Economic Development Authority and the Cook County Chamber, Trail Center provides much more than just your tasty during-trip or end-of-trip meal: (link feature is not functioning - going old school):

The Trail Center has been a wonderful pre and post-trip experience for me. I always over-tip!

Thanks for posting the interview link. I had no idea they had started this cool program for hiring.

Rhonda(interviewer) sure sounds like a minnesoootan! Sounds like a great program to help young adults get going.

I've been wanting to go there for some time. I have followed closely how they have adapted their business in light of COVID. Pretty impressive! Very forward thinking!

Outstanding. Yet another reason to support Trail Center! I eat there every time I am on the Gunflint, often on the way in and on the way out. I also buy Camp Chow meals as the only brand I use. I have found them to be both superior quality and spot on in terms of portion size ( if it says for 2, it is). And they have single servings that are just right for solo trips or social distanced meals in camp. Looking forward to my next meal at Trail Center in just over a week - probably the extremely reasonably priced and tasty Friday fish fry.

Great news and thanks Trail Center.
I have spent some time on the Pine Ridge Reservation and saw the poverty first hand. A good friend of mine taught at the Crazy Horse High School in Wanblee.
