I'm considering trading my Rockstar for a Merlin II or Magic in similar condition. I'm a bit small for this "big boy solo" and hoping to find a clydesdale paddler in the opposite position. Ideally someone willing to meet up for a mutual test paddle to make a final decision.

My preference would be a Merlin II in kevlight layup with aluminum gunwales. I'm hoping for an even trade, but might be willing to throw in some cash for a really clean boat. I'm not interested in ragged out retired rentals or anything with significant repairs. I may consider other flatwater tripping solos in an ultralight layup.

This canoe is a 2009 in kevlight and weighs 32lbs. It is in nice used condition and has normal scratches and a ding or two as a boat that has been paddled and tripped in. I have a foot brace that I have yet to install, which I would include if your boat already has one. I'm located in central Wisconsin.

I understand your looking for a trade, but if that doesn’t pan out for you, I would be interested in purchasing....
