Lake 80 is a destination lake....in fact, some paddlers just go there for a day trip as opposed to camping on the lake. Here's a photo of one of the portages you can take to exit the lake. The second photo is of the creek that flows out of Lake 80.....

Lake 80 is one of the most famous lakes in Quetico. Only a few paddlers get to it each season. If you come from the north, the first photo today shows a portage take-out (you're facing south) that leads to a creek that requires two more portages, then a paddle through a similarly sized lake to the final short portage where the creek outflow was shown in Pic 5.
To exit Lake 80, you then either retrace your path heading north, or you head west where you'll have a couple lengthy portages separated by an oil-colored beaver pond, then a scenic creek paddle separated by a mongo beaver dam, then a last portage into a well-known walleye lake. Here's a photo facing west of the scenic creek after the longest portage in this stretch....
