I fell back in love with spoons in the last 5-10 years. I'm always looking on eBay for discontinued lures. Came across these heavier Little Cleos. They are 1-1/4oz and I've added dressed trebles to all my spoons. I feel it adds a little extra to the spoons. (The two on the left are actually green.) Can't wait to give them a long cast. ;)

I like little Cleos, Krocodiles and castmasters. The extra weight is nice, long casts from shore and better depth when trolling.

Thanks Sammy. These are 3/0. I would have preferred 1/0 or 2/0, but it's all this eBay seller had.

Speckled, check out the K.O. Wobbler. You'll get some serious hang time out of this spoon (bottom right).

Caught some of the largest lakers of my career trolling a hammered brass Big Doctor (Doctor Spoon)! It's heavy enough I'd worry about casting it hard.

anytime i'm casting lures over an ounce i'm running #50 power pro on a rod rated up to 3oz. and yes you want to do more of a loft type cast ;) and spinnerbaits over an ounce with a big willow can ruin your average spinning reel , need to beef up to a 5000 or 6000 size reel (if your using spinning equipment)
