My friends and I have wanted to do a summer trip together and I've been to the BWCA a few times so I recommended we go there. My only problem is I'm bad at finding routes, all my trips have been with my dad who has planned the routes out. I'm hoping to find one that takes around 5 days but we could also take it a little slower and maybe see some sights. I would love to go to Johnson falls but I don't know where to go after it.

Start this in the Trip Planning section and you might get some more info there too. If you really want Johnson Falls....look @ permit availability or call an outfitter up there like Clearwater and have them check. I know some of those permits are all taken for some dates. So if you know your date, either check recreation.gov yourself or call an outfitter to check those EP's on your date(s) to see what's open yet.
