Hi Guys - looking at making some miles this June - day 1 - Entry PT16 to Tiger Bay - Day 2 - Curtain Falls - Day 3 - Stuart Lake - Day 4 - Nina Moose - Day 5 out. Seems pretty aggressive, but we will have 6 pretty mobile guys and should be able to single portage for the most part. Has anyone ever done the portage between Stuart and Lake Agnes ?

Have not done the 3 portages between Stuart and Agnes, but have the same route planned for days 1 & 2 of a June solo. Singling, I think it's doable to get to Tiger Bay on day 1. Doubling, maybe...or maybe not.
Edit - my mistake - I am entering 19, not 16. Tiger Bay from 16 should be workable, even doubling.

Thank guys !!! I'm not typically in favor of pushing thru a trip as much, but my buddy is bringing a group of BSA from TN up for the week and our crew is looking to push to see the falls and thought a stop at Stuart would be great as well.

I remember a couple years back, busting our butts to secure some of the awesome sites along Tiger Bay, to witness, a boat, drop off a canoe along Warrior Hill. Crew paddled maybe 200 yds and pulled up to a campsite. Defeating, to say the least! Great thing about Tiger Bay, there are so many great sites in that area.

I did the Stuart to LLC portages via Dahlgren last summer...and in and out from EP16 via Agnes.....double portaging. I could probably get from Stuart to Nina Moose in 7+ hours or so....and I am not fast by any measure. The portages are not overly hard, but water levels can affect your time....

They couldn't do that legally last year or yet this year if it makes you feel any better.

+1
Ethan nailed it on the head. Travel time is a couple hours, but that Dahlgren portage from Stuart is arguably the most beautiful portage I’ve ever seen. I’ll be heading over that way mid June just to walk that portage before heading back northeast towards Iron. Have a great trip, magnificent route!
