I see that the NRS Boundary Boot is now available again in many sizes. My question is for those who are familiar with the boot: If I normally wear a size 10 for my other footwear, should I get the Boundary Boot also in size 10? I'll probably be wearing thick wool socks underneath the boot and I have wide feet (at least up front by the toes).
Thank you in advance for any opinions you might share.

Just put one foot in front of the other; eventually you'll get there.

I'm guessing you're best off with their size 10. Ideally you'd buy before you try or have ability to return without penalty.
For reference, I bought 10 and 11 tried them both at home and returned the 11. I usually wear a 10.5 or 11 shoe, and I have a narrow toe box and low volume foot. I thought the 11 was just too big and went for my preference with the 10. I wear them with two pairs of wool socks and my [thin] gore tex dry suit bootie (all inside the boundary boot), and have a snug, moccasin like feel. If there was a size 10.5 I'd have gotten that. A friend with a wider foot, who prefers a little more space and was on the margin between sizes went for the 11.
The current gen boundary boots are great shoes. I've put them through their paces paddling a ton in them since last September. they work well on the portage trail, and also kneeling on a t-pad. water proof and warmer than I'd expected.
Mini review here, I guess. Hope this helps.

I bought a pair of the closeout model and wore them last year. After researching it I went with the recommendation to size up 1 and that worked out. I wouldn't want to go down 1 size. I wore one medium weight sock and a thin orthotic. I don't know if the sizing/fit is different between the two models although there are obviously differences.
IF you buy from NRS they say you can order both and return one. I believe returns are free, but contact them for details.

ID go up a size if you plan on wearing wool socks, which you should. I recommended Darn Tough. I wear 8.5 but bought size 9. With wool socks they are a tad snug still. Wish they were 9.5 but NRS doesn't have half sizes.

Thanks for this. The drysuit info is particularly helpful to me.

I normally buy size 13 boots, and I bought size 13 for these. I wore one thick pair of alpaca socks under them, and it was perfect. These boots are excellent! My wife and I wore them on an October trip, and they kept our feet very warm. I even flooded one of mine, and my feet still stayed warm.

I wear 11 or 11 1/2 normally and have a relatively low volume foot. I bought these in size 11, but I’m returning them and buying size 12. No way would my intended sock + drysuit bootie fit in the 11.
FYI, the inventory seems to have evaporated in the last few days. I just barely found the 12.

Yep, it looks like I didn't act soon enough due to my indecision. One thing's for sure - even a somewhat off-size boot works a lot better than no boot!

Watch for my 11s to show up on outdoorplay.com in a week or so. I’ll try to post confirmation here of their receipt at the other end.
