I am planning a trip into Moose Lake in the Eastern BWCA for Lake Trout/ Walleye opener, and I am wondering if anyone has intel on the LT quality in Moose.
I have taken day trips into Mountain (it's neighbor) and caught buckets of small LT, but I am hoping to stay on Moose and find some lakers. Any info helps.
Thanks!

Curious how the trip went? We are doing the eastern boarder lakes in the near future, any suggestions?
deepwater: "Well, with no replies and my trip starting tomorrow, I am going to assume that since no one answered, it must be an under fished lake. Should hold some monsters!"

Trip update.
It was a great trip but I couldn't find much for fish on Moose. I few smallmouth but I am not super excited about smallmouth especially when I am expecting a nice Laker. Overall Moose is a nice lake. We found a few Lakers on Mountain though.
