I bought this tent several years ago at a garage sale. Thought it looked cool. ( yeah I still say things are cool..) Neat tent, but I can't find anywhere on it that tells me the model. I think it was a pretty good tent in it's day. Neat little shelf inside. Probably marketed as a two man tent, but is usually the case, it would be tight unless you are close. Got any ideas??

Walrus Apogee

A rather rare 4 season 3 person Walrus tent. All the parts?
I had 2 Walrus tents. A Hurricane Hole tunnel tent and a Lite-Star. Walrus, Moss, Garuda were part of the forming of Seirra Designs/MSR.

Campers back when those tents were made didn't mind tight quarters, plus it helps keeping warm at altitude.

Yeah, all parts. But, you would have to be awful cuddly to fit 3.

Forgot to add a question mark with the Apogee model. It's close but hard to be sure.
It's interesting to dig into the history and relationship among North Face, Dana, Sierra Design, Moss Tent, Garuda, and the evolution of Cascade Designs, MSR, REI, Big Agnes
One name pops up often with a bunch of outdoor equipment designers and companies, Bob Swanson, aka "Bob The Tent Guy"

Okay, children, we’re going on a trip. No, not that kind. Not that kind either. This will be a trip down memory lane for those of us old enough to remember but still too young to have forgotten. ;-)

Sorry, going off on a bit of tangent... I loved my old Walrus Zoid 1 solo tent. It finally became irreparably leaky and I'm still trying to find a replacement that I like as much. Thinking about ditching the leaky rain fly and just pitching a lightweight tarp over it instead.

The Sierra Designs High Side 1 looks great, very similar with some improvements, but so far I can't stomach the Starfleet Academy color scheme that Sierra Designs has adopted recently:

MSR took over the Zoid and sold it for some time, might find one on the used market.
Alps Mountaineering offers the Mystique a close copy, but they screwed the door zipper with the pull starting at the foot end. I used a 1.5 for several years. Otherwise a good solo tent at a reasonable cost.

One thing I really liked about the Mystique was a short 13 inch pole set.

I have the REI version of this parka shell and still use it. Very versatile and tough, just not waterproof.
