Is Kawishiwi Lake closed in August? I was just looking at the permit availability and it looks like there are no permits reserved at all in August through Kawishiwi Lake. Glitch in the system?

I just looked, and there are some available, especially the last 10 days of August.

I'm seeing the same. Maybe it was a glitch, but all seems right now.

That’s about the time kids go back to school, so things like this as well as businesses like hotels, airlines, etc see things drop off about then .

I guess I didn’t express myself clearly. It read straight 9’s. As though no permits at all were reserved through the entire month.

State fair might be back in some capacity at that time as well. If there is a slack off in demand at that time, that would be a welcome relief from the crowds.

I just checked and very few available the first 3 weeks, then kind of mixed. Have you double checked?

Yup. Now it is what I would expect. Had to have been a computer glitch, but sure looked funny. Every day for Aug. had a 9 in it like no one had reserved a permit through the entire month. But just August. July looked right and Sept looked right. Like I said, I should have taken a screen shot. I jumped back and forth the 10 days tabs a few times too.

I was wondering if they had allowed too many permits and were resetting the entire month and everyone had to make their reservations again. Stranger things have happened.
