Should be, this is prime time for them. Though the water is VERY warm lately so...the trappers might not be having a normal spring.

Plenty to find on our non-BWCA northern MN trip last week

just got home from Ely area and Spirit of the Wilderness had lots of leeches....enough for us to buy 5 pounds of mixed leeches (small, medium, and jumbo)

Yep... picked up two pounds of leeches at Buck's Hardware in Grand Marais a couple weeks ago. $35 per pound.
