I found a 2000 Kevlar Bell Morningstar in what appears to be decent shape. My question is being 21 years old are there any issues as far as the Kevlar deteriorating? Also, what would this be worth if in average to good condition?

As long as it wasn't stored in the sun for 15 of those 21 years, it should be fine. I have kevlar canoes that are 10 years older than that and they are going strong. Probably start at $1000 and possibly up to $1200 if it looks really nice.

Yeah, depends how and where they stored it. If inside or covered at least you've got a shot at a very long life. If it's sat on the ground in the sun that whole time....no bueno

My Bell Magic (black/gold) is 22 years old. still running fine with no issues. I had the same question when I bought it 10 years ago. A reply here was to look at the plastic floating around the world...

You should be able to see the gelcoat condition easily. Obviously, it should be clear - it will deteriorate first before actually seriously affecting the kevlar. UV wax/spray will do wonders for it both in terms of rejuvenation and prolonging the condition of the gelcoat. My '04 Northstar is darn near immaculate due to covered storage and UV protection.
