Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone has been to the Buck Lake area recently? I have a trip planned through EP 1 in the middle of August coming up and wondering what to expect. I've been into Glenmore from the Crab lake side and I remember the portages weren't really used much then. Any tips on getting into Buck/Western lakes from Trout? I'm thinking with the low water levels this year I will plan on going in to Chad Lake from Pine Creek and just use the main portages. Does Pine Creek get low enough to be concerned about or is it deep enough so we won't get stuck? Also any updated fishing reports over there? Our main target is walleye but anything is fun. I will also bring some lake trout lures in case we decide to fish them on Trout. Thanks in advance!
