walllee: "Yes!"

Likely very limited-with restrictions and verifiable Covid documentation.

I emailed a friend who has a place on Canadian soil on Sand Point Lake, accessible only by water, offering to go up with him on Aug 9 to check on things (and, perhaps do a little fishing). We boat up to his place through Handberg’s on Crane. His reply:

“I was very optimistic but now I am hearing they won’t open the customs on Sand Point and they aren’t issuing remote area border crossing permits. That could mean we still can’t go. I will watch for more developments.”

It seems like everyday a different news source is announcing when the border will open and none have been right yet. I think we will just sit back and when people start crossing north to south and south to north we will believe the border is open.
