I've got a relatively unused and newer Timberline 4 tent that already needs all new bungees everywhere. Where can I buy bulk cord and the crimps? Menards and FF here didn't have any...not that I was really expecting them to.
I figured I'll just buy 10' or whatever it looks like I'll need and cut and crimp it myself for all the different lengths I need.

I suppose that you could buy it online at whichever thickness and length that you need. I use a local outdoor store here in the Twin Cities (Midwest). REI probably has it although I've only bought climbing guideline (1/8th diamenter reflective cord) from them but I'm guessing they would have it as well. I've also seen the thickness that I've wanted in my local hardware store. The latter might be your easiest and quickest access (might be cheaper too).

I've used questoutfitters.com in the past for pole repairs. I found them very helpful.

If you are going to buy online, I've had good experience with Quest. A plus is that if shipping is less than the chart, they'll only charge you cost.

Use the old stretched-out shock cord to pull the new material through the pole sets. Many tents' manufacturers simply use knots (rather than wire crimps) to secure the cord ends to pole ends--this is nice because it allows easy adjustment of cord tension.

That would be my first move. Surprising what manufacturers will supply at no cost -- good word of mouth is powerful advertising -- and Johnson/Eureka is one that has come through for us more than once.

Quest Outfitters
Quest Outfitters. They have the shock cord and various replacement parts, including the end tie-offs (grommet style or other). Many different
parts to repair or make own tent poles.

Another Quest Outfitters customer here. Nice supporting a small USA based business too.
