Does anyone have fresh info on the Frost River?
I'll likely call into Tusc Outfitters to see what they know....but worth checking here.

I just completed the Lady Chain/Louse River route on 8/2-8/5. The staff at Sawbill Outfitters said the back half of the Lady Lakes Chain route and first half of Louse River route would be a little harder and they were correct. Passable but a lot of pullovers and squeezes through narrow rock channels.

They specifically did not recommend trying the Frost River route right now.

Thanks for the update. May alter my plans for late September/early October if precipitation doesn’t pickup.

Even during a normal year, the Frost River is usually not recommended in August or later trips. It gets very shallow after Pencil Lake and especially towards Afton.
