Well, my 20+ year old Maine RollOn disappeared from my truck today. This is a roller that fit on the back of TracRac's to facilitate loading stuff on high vehicles.

When I did a search online, it looks like the company that made them is no longer in business. Anyone know of a similar product that would fit on TracRac's. I think I'm probably out of luck, unless I want to try to fabricate something, but thought I'd check with the community here before giving up. Anyone know where these, or a similar product can be found?

I'm not sure it will fit, but the Yakima ShowBoat roller is described as fitting on factory and aerodynamic crossbars. It might be worth a look.

Thank you for the suggestion. Not sure if these can be made to fit, but definitely worth a look. I was not aware of these and had not found anything else yet.

I downloaded Yakima's installation instructions and these will definitely not install directly to my TracRac, but I could probably fabricate an adapter (would actually need to fab 4 adapters). It would not be terribly expensive to make up the adapters in terms of materials (I probably have enough stock on hand to make them), but it would take a fair bit of time.

I'm going to keep looking and if I can't find anything else this may be a good project for this winter. On the positive side, the price of the roller kit is not bad, though they won't deal with much weight. Not a problem for canoes and kayaks, but I'd need to be careful when carrying steel on my racks.
