Hi all,
Can anyone recommend an outfitter that carries kevlar canoes for the Chippewa National Forest?
I've been searching a bit on Google without much luck. I also tried the search function here but naturally was swamped with BWCA outfitters.
The outfitter in grand rapids has two canoes I'm not really interested in.
I'll be heading up from the city so anywhere along the way would work.
Also apologies if this is the wrong thread for this. Couldn't decide if it should go here or the "campsites outside the BWCA" section.
Thanks for the time!

I live on the border of Chippewa National Forest and I am not aware of anyplace close to rent canoes, especially kevlar boats. While the area does have some paddling opportunities, it is certainly not a paddling destination.
Were you looking at paddling the Boy River, by chance?

Sure that makes sense.
I'm actually looking to paddle a few of the lakes by Marcell and stay at the dispersed sites up there.
I hope to purchase a canoe next season so I was looking to see if I could find someone who happens to carry one I'd be in the market for, to try it out. But I'll use whatever I can find.
Cheers

Thank you. I must have missed the rivers north outfitter on the forest service page. I'll have to give them a call.
