Thinking about squeezing in a 4-night trip in early October. Have taken many trips and have some ideas, but I am curious where you would go if you had four nights for a trip... and why.

Did you survive the rain? Did you hunker down or paddle on?

I was camping in the front yard of a friend's cabin on Vermillion this past weekend. Saturday's rain left my hammock a bit damp but I was dry. I felt dread for anyone out of doors that day.

Stayed dry and toasty for 5 days, but had a lot of "under the tarp" time to read a book and stoke the fire. It was a great trip.

Where was your camp? Those photos look like it could have been Boulder Bay or maybe Tiger? Nice shots.

I absolutely enjoy sitting under a tarp while it's raining but still having a smallish but warming fire going. Easy living.

Nice photos.
