Just a heads up for anyone going to Ely anytime soon. I tlked with someone (an employee) outside of Britton's a couple of days ago and learned that they are closed while they are cooking for the folks fighting the fires so you will need to find someplace else for your early breakfast.

The person I talked with said they were still cooking for 160 firefighters. She did not say when they would be open again.

Temps running very high for this time of year does not help and things drying out and leaves falling.
