March 11-13. 157 days. I was there on eve of cancelled 2020, listening to One Match. Did most sessions online in 2021. Can't wait for in-person 2022. Still have 2020 wrist bands they said they would honor.

Looking forward to, once again, being there in person and seeing everyone.

We'll also have to come up with a location for our BWCA.com dinner. I don't remember where it was going to be in 2020, but Angelo's is no longer an option.

I chose to trash my 2020 wristband. I figured they could use the money. I'm sure they lost a considerable amount.

Put my 2020 wrist bands in a safe place, no clue where that safe place is now. Is there a way to identify BWCA.com folks while at copia? Do you all have a secret hand shake or something? 2020 was to have been my first show and I looked forward to maybe meeting some of you.

You can wear a hat or a shirt from bwca or you can just meet at the annual dinner at a restaurant in Madison, organized by bwca members. That event is a lot of fun! Details will be posted up when we get closer to the date.

I enjoyed Virtual Canoecopia last year, and I'm happy to see that option exists again. Not that I wouldn't mind seeing some of you folks, but eliminating the drive to MadTown and other costs, along with being able to watch the presentations (even the ones scheduled simultaneously) at my leisure over an extended period of time... win, win.

FYI, Angelo's Monona is not but Angelo's McFarland remodeled during 2020 and is really nice now. It's about 3 miles away from Monona (just down the street from my house). I haven't been to a sit down restaurant since the pandemic started but I used to love that place and hear it's booming again. The owners are still the same and it's pretty popular, especially on Friday night.

I wear my bwca.com bandana as a face mask when traveling. Like a canoein cowboy... it was nice cause it was there and handy when you go in somewhere you could just pull it up like a bank robber. Haha!
But yeah, get a hat! Haha!

Can you check them out to see if they can accommodate 60-70 people (or more) in a private room?

Ashleigh (bass), Caitlin (fiddle) and I are really looking forward to this. We have ton of fun musical things planned to release all that pent up energy from the last 2 years of down time.

We are also going to make a new video for the virtual end as well, so see ya either way.

Sorry, been away. Had no idea we are talking that many people. I'm not sure the entire restaurant can hold that many people. I'll call.
Let me think about this and make a few phone calls. I'm sure there's a solution. The Coliseum Bar and Restaurant is walking distance from the show. 608-251-2434. I mean right there. It's big too. That would be my first go to for a crowd that big. Trout Unlimited used to do monthly meetings with that many people attending. Maybe they still do. ? I kind of dug into a deep dark hole when Covid hit. Are you interested in gathering just one night? Preference? Probably Saturday, right? jad

We do usually convene on Saturday night.
