I like chess. I like checkers. I really like playing dominos. But I have never taken any of those on a canoe trip or backpacking trip. There are travel chess boards, but the pieces are so small and I end up losing them anyway. And I have never bothered to even look for a travel dominos because of the weight and loss factor.

Lo and behold, what I came across today, a deck of cards that can be used as chess, dominos, checkers, backgammon as well as the standard 52 deck of cards.

This looked interesting enough that I pledged. And I thought there might be one or two people on this board that would appreciate this card deck. I know there has been plenty of times stuck in a tent on a rainy day that I wished I had a chess board or dominos for Mulligans.

Good idea! I have seen travel sets of cloth fabrics, board and pieces. The card deck is a good way to integrate several down time games.
