Was a bust last night. Thin clouds in the north at 2 am blocked even the brightest constellations. (Orion was super impressive in the SE, however.) Tonight is still supposed to be good, but an even cloudier night is forecast. Guess I'll sleep in. I'm not sure if I have ever seen the lights when I go out after learning of an optimistic forecast... usually just by chance.

It was a bust in Bemidji last night. I took a peek around 11:30p. It was clear, but no lights. It seems like I only see them when they aren't being forecasted.
