Happy 3rd Birthday Bruin. You were quite the surprise, but an amazing blessing. Never imagined I’d have a toddler at 50 ;). His 1st CCS pack is a Wanderer. Looking forward to many years in the bwca with you.

Looks good...
My dad got me a pack about then. But I think he was hoping I’d run away from home. Haha!

Can't believe he's three already!
You could almost cut holes in for his legs and he could "be" the pack.
Lol.

Looks great and good color

So darn cute! Happy birthday and happy portaging to Bruin. We look forward to seeing pics of him using it this summer.

I had a 4 year old at 50 years old, in my opinion it keeps us young. But, like the Kenny Chesney song says, "Don't Blink", because then this is what happens:

My son Ryan with his first CCS pack.

Love it! That pack will be able to hold so many toys!

How can that baby be three years old already? What a wonderful photo--thanks for sharing, ducks!

Time is so fleeting. How can the little girl we first took to the Gunflint when she had barely turned four now be 18 and a sophomore in college? and that's a granddaughter--not a daughter!

Suddenly I feel old.

ducks - adorable!!
spartan2 - *I* feel old hearing she is 18 and I've only "known" her through your recounting the trips with you. No way would I have guessed she was in college!
