Pretty please, I really want a Northstar Northwind 17 in Blacklite.

Dan Pearson, of Facebook group Midwest+ canoe trader, just lowered his price on his Bell Blacklite NW 17. Was asking $2600, dropped it to a very attractive $2150. Dan is near Traverse City, at the northern end of the LP.

Thanks Analyzer! I’ve decided to order the Northstar NW17 in the “Stealth” package. All gunwales, seats and thwarts in E6 carbon fiber. It’s just over $5k but will be exactly what I want. And at 34 lbs.

wow, 34 lbs??? I think the wood added 4 lbs, and the blacklite added 4 lbs. As I recall i'm sitting on 43?? I'm not certain.

And I was just thinking about you buying half my canoe, and we could time share. We only use it once a year. But then someone hits a rock, and the other is not happy, so that wouldn't necessarily be a good idea.

A way for you to sell one half and keep everyone happy. In the event of a claim, I could arbitrate for you to determine if monetary compensation is needed and how much.

You will have to determine how the canoe will be transported when necessary.

Also I could host a coin flip to see who gets to use the canoe should a conflict of dates takes place. The winner can send me money. Ha Ha.
