I had Joe build this canoe for me in 1967 after 3 seasons of guiding at C.L. Sommers canoe base (Northern Tier). Serial no. 866286. The canoe has been hung upright from 3 straps in my garage except when in use. Wicker seat in stern is beginning to tear and should be replaced. During my last trip on the Boy R. the hull was pierced right between two planks by a nail extending from a log. I patched the 1/8” hole with duct tape, but never permanently repaired it. Hull could use light sanding and repainting. The canoe is with me in Coon Rapids, MN. $3700
