I’ve taken a lot of pictures over the years and feel like I have run out of things to shoot when generalizing the things I see on a trip.
I have thought about shooting a trip with a macro-lens. Only things up close. bugs, leaves, fungus, things we overlook in the big picture.

I think a Macro/Close Up category would be fun and on a possibly related subject, how about "Behind the Campsite". One of my favorite things to do in the BWCA is to wander the woods behind camp to discover all kinds of interesting natural features which include but are not limited to flowers, fungi, birds, huge rocks/cliffs, hidden open meadows, bogs, spider webs - the list is endless.
It's a good way to scout for available firewood too.
