Thinking of making our annual trip to Sportsmans Lodge for ice fishing. Has anyone been recently? We went in January last year, 2nd week, and it was OK, but not what all the reports were saying. Not just our party, but everyone riding in our buggy out to various houses.

Last week four of us went out for two days, we caught upwards of fifty walleyes and saugers. Also landed a 30" walleye, the fish of a lifetime, for Uncle Allen. If that isn't excellent fishing what is? I know Lake of the Woods is slightly out of range for the BWCA, but had to brag somewhere.
