Looking to combine two specific criteria and I’m not seeing a lot of options.

Rechargeable
Waterproof (rated IX6 or higher)

I’m about to spring for a Fenix, any others I should consider?

I've been super happy with my HL65R, which I think has now been redesigned. A bit heavier than some, but super bright light and great battery life. I like that I can recharge off my Anker or solar panel but it usually lasts me a week or longer with lots of use, even in deep cold thanks to the 18650 battery.

I think the newer version is the HM65R, which looks like it has better beam control. I may have to upgrade.

Good to hear Jaywalker, thanks. I ordered an HM60R primarily because it includes the red light mode. 20% off and free shipping on their site, not mad about that.

It looks like Nitecore lamps have similar specs all around. Waterproof to IX68 and duel battery compatibility which means they should perform in the cold according to Fenix. I might wager that both brands are made by the same manufacturer in China.

I hope you are happy with it, and come back and post if you do or don't like it. I've camped with mine down to about -35ºF once, and multiple days around -20º-0º for about a week. I'm really happy with mine and love all the light it throws out in case of nighttime emergencies, bears, or the need to navigate in the dark for some reason, etc.
