I can't believe I'm going to recommend a Walmart product! Great Value pulled pork in bbq sauce 2.6 oz packs is actually very good! Right out of the pack with crackers or in a quesadillas, (tort-cheddar-bbq pork-cheddar- tort) bake or pan fry.
I slice sharp cheddar as needed when camping and find that it keeps a week or so in cool weather, or use Velveeta.

Straight from the grocer's refrigerator. I only use a cooler on the ride from home to the EP. I'm talking about May trips would not try in August. I do the same with butter. I take a 1# block of cheese and cut it into 3 or 4 pieces and vacuum seal each piece. Butter is put in a 8oz plastic container.

I'm kinda dumb. If you were referring to the bbq pork it comes in the foil pouches like the cooked chicken and is shelf stable.
