I sure hope the water levels are up. A lot of Fisherman lost their lower units
last year. Missy at the portage to Basswood warned us to be very care full
boating on Basswood. Many fisherman lost their lower units on Basswood
Lake last year.

It’s not good when you damage or lose your lower unit.

You mean many careless fisherman lost their lower unit.
I mean it's a 25 hp. Not a 250 hp

Maybe they should just make Basswood a no motor lake like almost all the others :)

First time ever using a motor in a new area last fall on basswood and I came home with my lower unit intact! Having a Garmin did help a lot,
