I'm gonna try out JimmyJustice's style! This place could be described a few different ways, I'm looking for a specific description, i.e. "north end of portage 363" or "portage landing on Flying Lake coming from Gotter" would both be correct if it was a staircase instead of just a log.

BWCA, facing northerly

That’s the Kekekabic Trail foot bridge between Thomas and Hatchet Lakes. The photo direction is facing S/SW.

Wow, that sure was fast, Tony! Extra points the direction, I will believe you more than my memory! I was coming from the portage, which my map shows is to the north, but my thought process was that the water was flowing into Thomas.

Since you are looking for specificity...that's the Kekekabic Trail between Thomas and Hatchet, Lake County, Minnesota, United States of America, Northern & Western Hemispheres, Planet Earth, The Solar System, Orion Arm, The Milky Way, Local Group, Virgo Cluster, Virgo Super-Cluster....Universe.

Lol, I’ve crossed it hiking and on canoe trips and it’s a great spot. The water at this spot is traveling west into Hatchet if I’m not mistaken. I’m going to have to dig to find some pics, I’ll post later tonight.
