First off, I have decided that I have too many boats and I am getting rid of some, of the ones to go is the small 14’ fishing boat with a 15 hp that I was going to take into Fall lake at the end of August. My question is would there be any problem taking in a canoe under paddle power using the overnight motor permit or should I just cancel it? I know thatI could call the FS but dealing with them would probably be an hours long task being transferred from one person to the next.

Keep the permit and get one of these.

That would be like me getting an overnight paddle permit and taking my motor boat up in Basswood.

I called Melissa at the Kawishiway Service center and she said they’ve never actually encountered that but she would expect me to cancel the permit and get a different one if available so I guess I’ll have to do that one of these days
