Homemade minimalist type barrel harness for sale. $40 plus shipping (est. $10-$13) The harness will be new. The item pictured is the harness I personally use.

I purchased a sewing machine and materials to make my own since I didn't like what was available or the cost of them. Designed with high quality thread and heavy duty webbing. I'm making a few extras to use up material and recoup some of the cost.

2" wide shoulder strap webbing. No padding. It will fit aftermarket shoulder pads if you want to purchase them separately. One picture shows them, but they are not included.

There is no waist/belt strap. I've used it on 2 trips now and have never felt like I needed one. If you are packing very heavy loads then you probably need to purchase a harness with a waist strap.

Has a strap on top of the barrel to secure extra items.

Has a handle at the top and bottom of barrel to make it easy to load and unload from the canoe.

Metal buckles to tighten the strap to the barrel.

A 60L barrel is shown in the picture. However, I designed it to fit a 30L barrel as well.

The shoulder straps have a wide range of adjustment. It fit my daughter (100 lbs) and myself (165 lbs) of average build just fine. It should easily fit a 200 lb person of average build.
