About what I expected with high water levels. I’m sure they will start north and work south. I wonder if they will focus on fire areas from last year first or areas that will be more prime to travel in this year! Nice to see they are out working! That would be a pretty cool rewarding job! Wish I had known and had the knowledge and will to do something that awesome for a summer when I was young!

Was up on Iron Lake a couple weeks ago. The damage on the north shore was significant. I bet the portages are in tough shape in the areas that were hit heaviest by the fire.

Doing something like that when young would have been great. Now that I’m retired and presumably have the time, I’m too old (56) and life is more complicated.
