I’m heading out to Ella Hall tomorrow and I’m wonder what the campsites are like? I checked out Paddle Finder but only 2 of the sites were rated. Does anyone know what the rest of the lake is like?

Maps page on this site also has 2 that are rated. (both 3's I think)

10 years ago, 3 would be about right for the rating for the only 2 sites we considered. I would not count on a better rating at the others as a later canoe pass would show a 1 rating at best. We had difficulty identifing any of the other "locations".

the greatest come backs are reserved for those with the greatest deficits.
