Spookmeister: "It seems like 3"-4" Keitech-style swimbaits would be a good option for fishing smallies and walleye on mid-lake humps in summer, yet I've never had much luck with them. Anybody else try them with better results?"
The Keitech swing impact paddletails always seem to work better for me on clear lakes. I'm thinking their profile may be a little less invasive compared to something like a Berkley ripple shad 3.5", which is my go-to for stained or dirty water. That's just been my experience with them. I put them on a 1/4-3/8oz Northland fireball jig
