Heading up the Sawbill Trail this weekend.
What baits should I be using and what structure should I be targeting?
Thanks,
Captn.

We were up in that neighborhood last weekend, over in Vern, Pipe, etc, and had decent luck trolling husky jerks in 6 or 7 feet of water. Some respectable walleyes up to about 19''. We didn't try deeper structure, but I'm sure there are some there as well. Good luck.

Fishing was good but not great. We caught one 18" smallmouth bass and 4 walleye between 19 & 22". Plus some smaller smallmouth and a fair amount of eater size walleye.
Oh, also 2 rock bass and a northern pike.

What were your best lures?

Slip bobber with a leech and a jig with a leech. We also caught some trolling with shad raps and flicker shads.
