Looks like later Sawyer hardware, but that full V hull has me stumped.

What canoe is this?

Maybe an Oscoda, a cheap line made by Sawyer using chopper-gun layup rather than cloth.

That's clearly not a chopper gun boat though.

It's the full V hull I found a little different.

Any ID# imprinted on the hull? Usually on the stern right below the breast plate.

Does the "swirl" emblem on the side of the stern look original? It is not a design that I recognize.
What are the measurements?

I can't see cloth.

I blew up the photo and there is cloth, but it is course woven-roving mat. This is not a high-end boat. It would fit with the Oscoda line that Sawyer did. The flotation tanks are Oscoda-like as well as the seats. I found this v-bottom Oscoda.

Yes, most likely an Oscoda Sport or an Oscoda Family 17, depending on the length. The swirl emblem must have been something the owner added, because it's nothing I have seen on a Sawyer canoe, or an Oscoda canoe.

The seat hangers are not of the usual hardware I've seen Sawyer use. Then again, Sawyer would make changes to their canoes from year to year or even within a production year. It's also possible the owner did some modifications to the original seat hardware.

That's not a swirl emblem, it's a Makau which is a Hawaiian fish hook.

Aha! The Family 17 looks exactly right, thanks! It was carrying the V all the way to the tanks that had me scratching my head.
