Has anyone been through Kahsh this summer, I see some maps show east side burn, was this from previous burn or 2021, curious if anyone has more information.

So I think you mean Kahshawpiwi? I went through the northern portion of that lake. Came in from Trant and then travelled north fri that point. The fires shown in PP on the east side of the lake are from 2006 and 2011 so older burns. Last years fires burned through starting further north of Kahsahpiwi. We started seeing the fire from last year at Sark. Cairn
, Heronshaw, and Metacryst were pretty hard burn areas.

Yes, we came through from the north this summer and exited via Trant. There are no fresh burns here. We stayed at the Grand Hotel, and fished the lake pretty hard for two days.

Nice campsite, crappy fishing.

We came in and stayed at the southern and middle areas of Kash this past September. No new burn noticeable at that time. Hilton was booked, so we stayed at island campsite half mile south of it. Beautiful lake, but the nonstop rain made it memorable for the wrong reasons.

I thought we were the only ones that called the elevated site the Grand Hotel!
