Can anyone verify whether or not this is floatable recently? I see most people route around it, but damn, that is one helluva detour....

Not floatable - hasn't been for a number of years now, since the beaver dam went out. The portage now goes all the way from Mulligan to Wannihgan. Long walk, but not terrible.
