RRHD: "It was like a street light on Gabimichigami two nights ago! I could have read by it."
Reminds me of a funny story. When my boys were in high school, we spent MEA weekends grouse hunting at our deer camp near Grand Rapids. One year, the moon was so bright that we thought we could shoot a clay pigeon.
We took the gun, a shell and the thrower into the clearing nearby. I wound up and threw… and then… we just busted out laughing as the pigeon flew away, completely invisible. I thought as I threw it, I would at least see a shadow of it, but it just disappeared.
Around the campfire, the memory of it always brings smiles whenever we have a full moon:-)
