Hey all. I recently completed a fall thru-hike of the SHT. I began with a friend at the Southern Terminus at the MN/WI border - we hiked in from the new NCT parking lot to the south in WI. We ended 21 days and 310 miles later at the Northern Terminus. I've hike most sections in the past and it was awesome to finally thread it all together. Thought others might enjoy. If you're considering it, do it! It's challenging, beautiful, rugged and full of solitude. We hike peak fall. Also..I've got good intel for camping through the Duluth section that worked really well for us.

That's awesome! Way to go. On my bucket list for sure.

Congrats! That is a great accomplishment! How was the water sources, it was a pretty dry past month. And did you see many people?
