We have made a reservation for the annual BWCA.com dinner in Madison, WI during Canoecopia.
Saturday night, March 11, 2023.
Breakwater Restaurant
6308 Inland Way
Monona, WI 53713
5:30pm to 9:00pm. Tentative serving time for dinner will 6:30pm.
Breakwater is approximately 2-1/2 miles east of the Alliant Energy Center where Canoecopia is being held. A very short and easy drive.
We'll be in one large banquet room with seating for 125 people. The room will also have a cash bar with bartender service. Plenty of room for meeting, greeting, mingling and canoe trip story telling!
Exact dinner details will be worked out over the next few weeks, but it will be served buffet style and I expect the cost to be in the $25 range per person.
Anyone reading this invitation is welcome to attend, and, of course, all family members and friends are welcome. It would be great to have our largest group ever.
REPLY TO THIS POST TO SIGN UP FOR THE DINNER. Hope to see you there!

Not sure whether I can come or not yet this year, and won't know until later. Is there a drop dead reservation date?
I will, however, be volunteering at the Mad City Paddlers club booth in the hallway outside the main exhibition hall on Sunday afternoon starting at 3pm. Stop by and say hi!

Sweet! Hope to make it this year and see a few people I’ve not seen in some time. Always gets a little iffy though with maple syrup season getting started around mid-March.

Looks like 47 people so far. That’s great!
(I counted Carolyn, but not sure if she is attending or just commenting.)
Thanks for signing up. Plenty of room for more! Sign up early so we can do our food planning.

Mocha: "Omg…I thought canoecopia was this past weekend…ya know, cuz of the snowstorm…. And I’m obviously losing my mind:)"
Sheryl, we all kind of figured you had your dates mixed up, but we were too nice to razz you about it. LOL

Thanks for organizing this again Pete. Myself and Jazzman plan to be there. So add 2. We have not been to this dinner in a number of years, so we are looking forward to it.

As it stands right now, Hans Solo and four other members of the 'Solo Clan', (somewhat of an oxymoron), plan to be there for the dinner on Saturday night. So, a total of five with a possible sixth.
Someone asked about pictures from previous member's dinners? Well here you go!
Hans Solo
(Photos are from the member's dinner during Canoecopia 2017 and Canoecopia 2018 at 'Angelo's Italian Restaurant', which sadly is no more.)

Jerry, I already have you set for four people. See you next weekend!

Tony"
Gotcha Tony. I added you. Glad you can make it.
