I’d take many canoe trips with my son when he was young. I learned that planning was pointless as we’d easily go twice as far as I figured. Thirty mile days weren’t a big deal. My son loved suffering long portages and scary rapids. Turns out I created a Nordic ski racing monster. Today he won the city of lakes loppet challenge, Saturday was 37k classic, today was 37k freestyle. I’m pretty proud and really impressed as he had strong competition. But the big question is who taught this kid ski waxing?

WOW! It is really encouraging when your gets take the mantel and run with it. Hoping my girls do the same.
