Several decades ago I went on 3 canoe trips to the Eagle Lake area near Dryden, Ontario. Back then it was very secluded and wild. I have been researching a variety of options between Lake of the Woods and Dryden but I would love to hear from someone who has been up that way in recent years. Any good trip suggestions?

I don't have the time or money to go way up north this time but I would love to get back into some remote areas where you might go a week without seeing anyone. I would prefer to stay out of the parks.
