Was fortunate to be in the BWCA this past weekend and my brother thankfully noticed the Northern Lights while we were sitting by the fire. Watched them for about an hour. Anyone else see them?

Yes- saw them also. one of the best I've witnessed in some years in the summer (longer daylight) months.
Bloody Stump one of my trip mates -- maybe he can post some pics? ( as my phone was dead)
They had a slight color (green to faded purple) even to the naked eye. 2 second exposure on camera really brought it out. Approx time was 10:45pm to about 11:30pm Friday.

Yep, we sure saw them from our campsite on Ester. Fine way to end the night after a successful day of Lake Trout fishing.

Saw them on Gull Lake. It was a wonderful way to end a trip.

Nice surprise for WhiteWolf, myself and the rest of our crew when we put our backs to the fire and see these

I'll be up there in less than a week.
I hope to be lucky enough to have clear skies and the opportunity to watch them for a while.
Thanks for posting pictures.

I was heading into Woodland Caribou on the 20th so was posted up at Pakwash Provincial Park on the 19th. Best aurora I've ever seen! A great way to start my trip.
