FYI it’s awesome. Didn’t know about it until I was complaining to a buddy one day. Warranty specifics depend on the model, mine was an elite tech walleye series. Sent an email with a couple pictures and a receipt and they sent a new one no questions asked.

All that happened was one of the ceramic inserts came loose on one of the middle guides. Now I have a brand new rod to use and a nice loaner for my buddies to get outfished with.

I am a big fan of fenwick eagle rods for the BWCA. They are an excellent value for the money and fairly durable in my experience. A 7ft medium eagle can pretty much do anything I need.

This is good to know since I have three Fenwick HMX's and I was unware.

I tried many times two years ago just to hear back from someone, and never had any success. Multiple emails, multiple calls…nothing but crickets and a busted rod.

Not a fan.
