I took a new job and settled in to central Wisconsin last fall.
I'm looking for recommendations on book(s) that offer good information and maybe trip reports on canoeing the rivers of central and northern Wisconsin. I see a lot of books offered thru various sites, but was hoping to get some advice from anyone who had read and/or used books for this type of travel.
Thanks
Dave

check out iverson park in Point. they have canoe trips down the plover river. i have not done it but it might be interesting. the farther north you go the better the wisconsin river gets. you can check usgs website for water levels for just about every river in wisconsin.
